Section 8: WORK TO COMPLETE
- Weekly Reflection Journals (50 points each) Each week, you will answer a set of questions posted to Blackboard that prompt you to think about what you learned that week. These journals will be due AFTER our class meeting for the week because the in-class activities are part of the 'stuff' upon which you should reflect. Each reflection journal is worth 50 points total. This work addresses SLOs 1, 2 and 3 for this course. (See Section 12 for more information on SLOs.)
- Test 1 & Test 2 (150 points each) These 'take home' tests are similar to the weekly journal in that they call for you to reflect on concepts from the course, but they will require you to respond at greater length. This work addresses SLOs 1, 2 and 3 for this course.
- Career Self-Assessment Report (200 points) This assignment calls for you to explore your academic and professional interests, and the specific requirements of your chosen profession, by writing an approximately three to four page report. Directions will be provided via Blackboard. This assignment takes the place of a final exam. This work addresses SLOs 1, 2 and 3 for this course.
